It is said that if one can perform on the streets, they can transfer those skills to perform at any venue. For the street magician, if a piece of magic is not deceptive enough, too slow paced, or uninteresting, people walk away without paying. The late Grandmaster Jim Cellini taught to use the elements of sound, color, and movement to capture and retain audience attention. I have developed magic based on movements that are fascinating, deceptive, and magical. They are reinforced by principles derived from a library of magic theory books. One of the greatest compliments I have received as a street magician was from an anonymous magician who dropped $20 in my hat, declared "Slydini lives!", and walked away.
