Millennium Ironwood Street Wand
Tap into a thousand years of history when performing the world's oldest magic trick with the Millennium Ironwood Street Wand
In the American South-West, in the desert landscape of heat and sand, an Ironwood tree nurtures an ecosystem under its silvery blue-green leaves, like a king bringing life from the gods. For a thousand years its branches house birds' nests, its seeds feed small animals, and its shade allows for life under the unforgiving sun.
Called "Palo de Fierro" or "Wood of Iron" this ironwood tree lives up to 800 years, and its trunk can remain intact in the desert for nearly two thousand years. Many pieces that are harvested are over a thousand years old. It is a true Street Strong wood. We're proud to produce the Millennium Wand for the conjuring community.
The Millennium Wand's appearance is a cross between Zebrawood and Lignum Vitae. The light and dark grain stripes have chatoyancy and a subtle luster when polished.
Being nearly as hard as lignum vitae, and dense enough to sink in water, the Millennium Wand is heavy and sturdy. It spins like a larger wand, and is tough enough to endure your most enthusiastic cups and balls performances. It can hold up to striking cups, coins, and table tops.
If you let an audience member handle the Millennium wand, you can let them know the wood is a thousand years old. Not a true story you can tell with most wands.
